In conjunction with Waynesboro’s Fourth of July Jubilee, the Firecracker 5K Run is ON, and so is the Scramble! Scramblers can run, walk—or scramble—to support The Institute. A virtual option is still in place—you can also Scramble from anywhere you choose!
More details and online registration coming in spring.
Sponsorship opportunities available for this event!
Put on your running/walking shoes and join us as we “scramble” along the streets of Waynesboro during the annual Fourth of July Firecracker 5K Race. We call our “sub-event” the Salamander Scramble, with team members securing funding pledges from friends, family, and co-workers. “Salamanders” head to the finish line on behalf of The Institute!
Check back for registration details. Race fees and free T-shirt provided. Team members may send entry fees and donations via PayPal using the Donate button below. (Note: A PayPal account is not required to donate by credit card using the same button.)
IF YOU USE PAYPAL
Please consider adding 3% to your donation amount so that 100% of your contribution goes to The Institute. The extra amount will cover the transaction fee that PayPal charges our organization. For example, if your donation to support a Salamander Scramble team member is $20, please make your PayPal donation in the amount of $20.60 (20 x .03 = .60).
Thank you!
