Shakespeare in the Park: The Tragedy of Julius Caesar

June 20, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

We regret that we must postpone this performance until further notice, due to the coronavirus.
Should MEG be able to reschedule the play, we will post that news on our website and Facebook page.

Presented by The Institute at Renfrew.

Enjoy a full theatrical production of William Shakespeare’s The Tragedy of Julius Caesar in the magical outdoor setting of Renfrew Park.

Staged behind the museum house, this MEG (Maryland Entertainment Group) production marks the seventh anniversary of the group’s Shakespeare in the Park performances.

In Shakespeare’s story of Julius Caesar, you will witness what can happen when suspicion, flattery, conspiracy, doubt, and treachery plague the ruling class. Have we learned from our past mistakes? Has the political landscape changed from Rome to present?

Bring a picnic, lawn chairs or blanket. Free. For more information, call 717-762-0373 or email to [email protected].
