An illustrated overview of the history and way of life of Pennsylvania’s Native Americans will be presented. Groups include the Iroquois, Shawnee, Susquehannock, and Lanape (Delaware), with discussion of where they were, and when. The contrast between the Native American and Euro-American settlers of the period will also be highlighted. ‘Turtle’ Swartz will wear Native American 18th-century regalia “that would be recognized by George Washington.” Free.
