Creatures of the Night: Free Owl Walk

February 4, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Location: Pine Hill Recreation Area, off Mentzer Gap Road in Waynesboro.

Naturalist Lori Schlosser will conduct this outdoor walk through wooded areas of the 174-acre Pine Hill Recreation Area. 

A brief pre-walk informational talk will help participants learn more about these nocturnal creatures and the methods used to locate them.

The entire program will be outdoors, so dress warmly and bring flashlights.

This event is free (donations accepted).
Due to the pandemic, enrollment is limited to 20 and pre-registration is required; register via email at [email protected]

COVID-19 safety protocols will be followed. Signed waivers required for registration.

• Participants will sign in & complete a waiver/contact form (available HERE).
NOTE: The PDF is fillable—you may type your information onto the form. However, we still need a printed copy, signed by hand.
If you can, please print, sign and scan it back to us at [email protected] (preferred), or print the form, fill it out and bring it along to the event.

• Social distancing must be practiced wherever possible. 

• Masks are required until further notice.

A storm date will be determined later if needed.
